Make payments to a team

This article provides information on how to make payments to a team.

Overview

Your team may use Teamer Payments to collect payments online from members. Payment requests are created manually by the admin and show on the Owed section of the Payments page.

Payments are securely processed by the payment provider, Stripe.

Stripe handle card payments. If paying via the mobile app, you can pay by Apple Pay, Google Pay or card.

Using the mobile app

Step-by-step guide:

  • Load the app on your phone
  • Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen (3 horizontal lines)
  • Tap 'My Payments'
  • The Owed tab shows payments you have been asked to pay by an admin

Using a web browser

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to teamer.net
  • Login to your account
  • Click 'My payments' at the top of the page
  • Click 'Owed

Using the mobile app

Step-by-step guide:

  • Load the app on your phone
  • Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen (3 horizontal lines)
  • Tap 'My Payments'
  • Locate the payment request you wish to pay
    • The payment name, amount to pay, and team name that the payment relates to are useful indicators of what you have asked to pay for.
    • If there are multiple buying options or a subscription option, you will need to select the specific option from the dropdown list
  • Tap 'Make payment'
  • A checkout window should open at the bottom of the screen to enter your payment details
    • The default payment option is bank card, but you may see Apple Pay or Google Pay if you have that enabled on your phone)
  • Tap 'Pay' to complete the secure payment

  • Go to teamer.net
  • Login to your account
  • Click 'My payments' at the top of the page
  • Click 'Owed
  • Find the payment request you wish to make a payment for and click 'Pay now
  • Enter your payment information
  • Click 'Pay'

  • The Paid tab shows payments you have completed

  • Click 'Paid

Troubleshooting

This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

  • I am unable to make a payment
    • If you have an issue with your payment(s) you should contact your Team admin first as they'll be able to assist you in getting payment issues resolved.
    • This includes failed payments, cancelling or unexpected payments. 
  • I don't need to make the payment
    • If you see an outstanding payment in the Owed tab of your account, it means an admin has requested you to make the payment.
    • You would need to contact the admin directly to have discuss the payment request.
