Overview
A team admin or member with the event manager permission can delete an event from the team on Teamer using the mobile app or a web browser.
An event should only be deleted if it was created in error. Once an event has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
If event invites have been sent to members for the event, the event needs to be cancelled before it can be deleted.
Delete an event
Using the mobile app
Step-by-step guide:
- Tap the team (if your account is linked to multiple teams)
- Tap on the event
- Tap the options icon in the top right corner of the screen (3 vertical dots)
- Tap 'Delete'
- Tap 'Delete' to confirm you wish to remove the event
The event will be permanently removed from the team. There isn't an option to restore a deleted event.
Using a web browser
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your team page
- Click 'Events'
- Locate the event and click 'Delete'
- Click 'OK' to confirm you wish to remove the event
