This article provides information on deleting a team on Teamer.

Overview
If the team is no longer needed, it can be deleted from Teamer by an admin of the team.
Before deleting the team, the admin should check:
- The team is not subscribed to the Teamer Premium plan. This will not be cancelled automatically if the team is deleted.
- The team is not being used by any admin or member.
- None of the team admins or members wish to keep the team listed on Teamer.
Please note:
- Deleting a team is a permanent action. Once the team has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
- If you are leaving the team, you may wish to transfer your team admin access to a different member.
Delete a team
Using a web browser
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to your team page
- Click the settings cog icon under the team name (towards the left of the page)
- Click 'Delete team'
- Click 'OK' to confirm you wish to delete the team
The team will be removed from the Teamer system (from your account as well as the members' accounts too.
Please note:
- Deleting a team is a permanent action. Once the team has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
- If you are leaving the team, you may wish to transfer your team admin access to a different member.
