# Sync events to an external calendar

## This article provides information on how to sync events to an external calendar

### Overview

Members should primarily use the Teamer mobile app or a web browser to see and manage the team's upcoming events.

Members can also sync the team's upcoming events to an external calendar app on your phone or desktop.

### Sync events to an external calendar

#### Using the mobile app

Step-by-step guide:

- Load the app on your phone
- Tap on the team (if you're account is linked to multiple teams)
- Tap the calendar sync icon in the top right corner of the screen

- Tap '**Sync**' to confirm you wish to sync the team's events with an external calendar app

- Confirm the set up in your external calendar app (on an iPhone, tap '**Subscribe**')

The team's events should be added to your external calendar app.

**Please note**:

This feature is available to iOS users only. It is not currently for Android users.

Try syncing the team's events using a web browser (see the section below).

#### Using a web browser

- Go to [teamer.net](https://teamer.net/)
- Login to your account
- Click on the team (if your account is linked to multiple teams)
- Click '**Events**'
- Click '**Sync**' and choose the method you wish to sync the team's events to (e.g. Google Calendar or Outlook) 
    - Alternatively, you can copy the calendar subscription URL or download the .ics file to manually add the calendar to an external calendar.
- Confirm the set up in your external calendar app

The team's events should be added to your external calendar app

### Troubleshooting

This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

- The calendar sync symbol doesn't show on the Teamer mobile app 
    - The option to sync the team's upcoming events to the external calendar app is available to iOS users. This feature is not currently available to Android users.
    - We advise the user to try syncing the team's events using a web browser (details available in this support article).
