Manage team settings

This article provides information on managing the team settings.

Overview

Keep the team's information up-to-date on Teamer via the team's settings page.

This includes:

  • Team name and sport
  • Country and timezone
  • Gender and age profile
  • Team member permissions (whether members can see each other's information, allow members to upload photos and documents, allow members to post Teamtalks)

Add/edit the team logo

Using a web browser

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to your team page
  • Click 'Upload crest'
  • Choose a photo from your Teamer library or a file from your desktop
  • Click 'Upload photo'
  • Drag to select the portion of the photo over the team logo/crest
    • The output of the logo/crest image is square so it's suitable for square or circular images
  • Click 'Crop and save'

The team logo will be added to the team page.

Update team settings

Using a web browser

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to your team page
  • Click the settings cog icon under the team name (towards the left of the page)
  • Click 'Edit team'
  • Edit the team's information and settings
  • Click 'Update team'

Troubleshooting

This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

  • Unable to edit the team's settings
    • The team's settings can only be edited by an admin of the team. Members without the team admin role cannot update team settings.
    • The settings cog icon is below the team's name and location of the team page in a web browser
