This article provides information on closing your account using the Teamer app or a web browser.

Overview
We're sorry to hear you wish to close your Teamer account. If you have left a team but are joining a new team, you may not need to close your Teamer account completely. Instead, the admin of the team could add you as a member.
Alternatively, you can close your Teamer account via your account settings. Please see the "Close my account" section below.
Close account
Using the mobile app
Step-by-step guide:
- Load the app on your phone
- Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen (3 horizontal lines)
- Tap 'My Account'
- Tap the options icon in the top right corner of the screen (3 dots)
- Tap 'Delete'
- Enter your account password and tap 'Delete' to confirm
Your account will be deleted and you will be taken to the app home screen to login to a different account or create a new account.
Using a web browser
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to teamer.net
- Login to your account
- Click on your email address/phone number on the right-hand side of the page
- Click 'Edit profile' in the drop-down menu
- Click 'Delete account' at the top right corner of the page
- Check the box to confirm in the overlay to confirm
- Click 'Delete my account'
Please note:
- Deleting your account is a permanent action. Once deleted, your account cannot be restored.
- If you are the only admin of a team on Teamer, closing your account will also remove the team from Teamer.
- If you have left the team but the team wishes to continue using Teamer, make sure you transfer your team admin access to another member before closing your account.
