This article provides information on managing notification preferences on the Teamer app or in a web browser.

Overview
There are multiple ways that you can receive notifications via Teamer:
- Push notification
- If your account is registered, you have downloaded the Teamer app, and you have opted in to receive push notifications
- Email
- If your account is registered and you have opted in to receive email notifications
- SMS
- If your account is registered, has a phone number entered on the account, and you have opted in to receive SMS notifications
- The team would also need to have a Teamer Premium subscription and/or purchased a Text Bundle.
Manage notification preferences
Using the mobile app
After downloading the Teamer app loading it on your phone, you should be asked whether you wish to allow/not allow push notifications.
If you later wish to change your push notification preferences, this is managed in your device settings, not on the app itself.

Using a web browser
Step-by-step guide:
- Go to teamer.net
- Login to your account
- Click on your email address/phone number on the right-hand side of the page
- Click 'Edit profile' in the drop-down menu
- Select/deselect whether you wish to receive email messages
- Click 'Save account'
Troubleshooting
This section covers common troubleshooting queries:
- Not receiving notifications
- Firstly, you should contact an admin of the team to check if you should have received a notification. It's possible the admin has yet to send a notification.
- If you were supposed to receive a notification from the team but didn't, check your notification preferences/settings on your phone and in your Teamer account.
